Sailing Croatia | Dalmatia:

Dalmatia is a region on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, mostly in modern Croatia, spreading between the island of Pag in the northwest and the Bay of Kotor in the southeast. The inner Dalmatia (Dalmatinska Zagora) is fifty kilometers inland in the north but narrows to just a few kilometers wide in the south. Coast from Zadar & Sibenik to Primosten.  This is one of the most popular sailing grounds, which is why there are as many as 14 marinas here. It was probably the first place someone built a marina and loads followed, like jewellers’ shops collect in one quarter of a town. Don't miss a freshwater detour to the river Krka near Sibenik. Zadar, Sibenik & Primosten are all beautiful towns

Coast from Trogir & Split to Dubrovnik. Apart from being a city with bags of character, Split is also the departure point for the most popular cruising grounds in Dalmatia - the islands of Brac, Hvar & Vis. This particular region has more beaches than anywhere in Croatia, great for stopping off for a swim, a cold beer or a nice meal.

Sailing Croatia | Dalmatia and subregions:

Over a thousand islands make up the Dalmatian Islands. With such variety, calm winds and turquoise waters, the Croatian coastline makes for an unforgettable Yachtcharter holiday. The sea here is remarkably clean and, unlike some parts of the Mediterranean, is still alive with sea life and full of fish. The cities and villages are ancient and intriguing. With so many stunning islands, bays and beaches, the Croatian Islands can virtually guarantee you, a little bit of privacy and some truly remarkable anchorages. As with most of the Mediterranean the Sailing season is quite long runs from about April through to about the end of October. The weather is predominantly warm and dry during these months.

Our charter bases are situated in Pula, Murter, Sukosan and Zadar (main ports North) and Marina Kastela, Dalmatia and Split in the south. If you come by air we advise you to fly to Zadar or Dalmatia (transfer to Murter is approx. 60 - 80 minutes). You can also travel to Pula by car via Germany, Austria and Slovenia. The new motorway is ready so it is no longer necessary to take the dangerous coastal route.
